Moyale Barracks FC is proud to be part of the ongoing Media Officers Capacity Building Workshop organized by the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) at Bingu National Stadium in Lilongwe.

The two-day workshop, which kicked off Friday morning has brought together Media Officers from all 16 TNM Super League teams, 12 National Division League clubs, as well as representatives from Regional Member Associations and the Super League of Malawi (SULOM).

The objective of the workshop is to strengthen the skills and professionalism of Media Officers in handling football communication at both club and association levels an area that is becoming increasingly vital in modern football.

Representing Moyale Barracks FC at the workshop is our very own Media and Communications Officer, Mike Lyson Zgambo, who has hailed the initiative.

“We are learning a lot here,” said Zgambo.

“Some of the key topics include digital media management, handling club websites and Facebook pages, writing effective press releases, and more.”

Zgambo also took time to thank FAM for hosting such an important workshop:

“We appreciate this opportunity.

Technology is evolving every day, and it’s crucial for us as club media officers to stay updated and adapt to these changes. We hope such workshops will continue in the future.”

Moyale Barracks FC remains committed to improving not only on the pitch but also in our communication and engagement with fans, media, and stakeholders. A strong media department is a key part of building a modern football club.
