3rd Battalion of Malawi Defence Force Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel Peter Overton Ng’oma on Sunday sent a blessing message to teams that are participating in this year’s Army Sports Festival in Salima.

Ng’oma said Moyale Barracks never came second, and he believes that the team will maintain the top position.

“This morning am here to encourage you, Moyale Barracks never come second, am so proud of you that you are going to do it. And I wish you all the best, individual you are fighting for many behind you, die for this unit, let’s love our Unit lets fly the 3MR, it only requires an inch to with the game don’t give up, don’t allow the spirit of defeat to control you.

“Let’s go and show them we are in different class, from the word go let put all our efforts.

“I expect the best from you once again I wish you all the best,” said NG’OMA.

He then encourage players with a quote from Jessica Ennis Hill.

“The only person who can tell you “You can’t Win” is you, and You don’t have to listen” Jessica Ennis Hill.

Basketball, Volleyball, Taikwando, Netball, Hockey, Run truck, Tag of War are some of the sports disciplines to participate in the Sports Festival scheduled from Monday 10 to 14 July 2023 at Malawi Defence Force College MAFCO in Salima.
