After losing to Red Lions at home 2-1 in their previous TNM Super League assignment, Moyale Barracks Football team travel to Rumphi Sunday to face Rumphi United, their final match in the first round of the league this season.

Assistant Team manager Victor Phiri said they want to end the half of the league in style by winning against the rookies.

“We are not safe as you see where we are on log table, so playing Rumphi United will be another tough assignment to both sides. We told our boys on the importance of the game and if we manage to bag three points that means we at least safe,” he said.

Phiri added that the return of Gastin Simkonda to the squad is another motivation to the team.

“After sometime we welcome back Gastin Simkonda in the squad and it’s another motivation to other players especially those who are new in the team,” said Phiri.

Moyale will play the game without head coach Prichard Mwansa who is currently attending Caf B coaching course at Chiwembe Mpira Village in Blantyre.

In a seperaye interview with Rumphi united coach Elias Chirambo, said he is expecting nothing but a win Sunday.

“We are playing at home and we do not have anything to worry we will fight to win the game,” Chirambo said.
