Moyale Barracks Head Coach, Prichard Mwansa said the team is looking forward to returning to winning ways today Saturday as the team welcome Chitipa United at Mzuzu Stadium.
The Lions of Kaning’ina have recorded two consecutive draws against Dedza Dynamos and City rivals, Mzuzu City Hammers in previous two games.
Mwansa said the team is taking a game as it comes and predicts a tough game against struggling Chitipa.
“This is going to be a very good and tough match. Chitipa United is a very good team, but we are looking forward to win the game. We will try to control the game and get the points, like I said already, we expect it to be tough,” he said.
Moyale have been struggling against the Lions of Forthills in their last five games, losing twice and drawing twice.
The first meeting between the two teams was in 2017 when Moyale Barracks won 1-0 in the first round before completing a double with a 3-2 win in the second round.
Chitipa United are struggling this season, winning just one game in their opening five games, losing four to FCB Nyasa Big Bullets, Mighty Tigers, Silver Strikers, and Rookies while Moyale Barracks have just lost one game in five fixtures, won two and drew two.
