MMM Sports Plus has honoured its pledge by rewarding outstanding footballer Charles Nkhoma with a K500,000 shopping voucher after he was named Player of the Tournament at the Northern Region Supa 4 Bonanza.

On Friday, the company invited Nkhoma to its shop at MMM Sports Plus, where he selected various sporting items equivalent to the prize money. Among the items he picked were a match ball, football boots, bags, and other essential equipment, all totaling K500,000.

Speaking after receiving the reward, Nkhoma expressed gratitude for the support, saying the equipment will motivate him to improve his performance.

“I am very happy with this reward. These materials will help me work extra hard and improve my game,” he said.

MMM Sports Plus representative Chimango Munthali said the initiative is part of the company’s broader vision to support and develop sports in Malawi.

“We started by supporting coaches, and now we are extending that support to players. Our goal is to continue promoting sports development in Malawi,” said Munthali.

The sports shop, located at Lilongwe Grand Business Park, offers a wide range of sporting equipment under one roof, catering to athletes and teams across the country.
