Moyale Barracks football team remains unbeaten at home in the 2024 TNM Super League season. The team maintained this record after a goalless draw against Mzuzu City Hammers in the Mzuzu Derby on Saturday afternoon.

Despite Moyale captain Black Aliseni missing a golden chance with a penalty in the 84th minute, the Hammers also failed to convert their opportunities, leading both teams to share a point each.

Players such as Luke Chima, Charles Nkhoma, Chifundo Damba, and Bonface Chuma had scoring chances, but their shots went off target. Both Olise Nkhwazi and Black Aliseni received yellow cards during the match.

After the game, Prichard Mwansa expressed Moyale’s determination to keep fighting until the last match of the season.

“It was a good game; we missed a lot of chances, but that’s part of the game. Having a point is better, although it wasn’t the result we were hoping for. We will fight until the last game, at least to end in the top 8 of the league,” said Mwansa.

The result leaves Moyale with 33 points, holding 7th position.
