Moyale Barracks Commanding Officer Lieutenant Col Herbert Lemani has given his blessings to the Unit Sports teams ahead of the Malawi Defense Force Sports Festival to take place from Monday 20 to 24th May 2024.

“Go and defend the Overall Trophy, I wish you all the best as you are traveling to Salima, I know Moyale that you are not going just to participate but to defend and bring the Overall Trophy home.

” I am encouraging you to go and work extra hard, let’s fly the 3MR flag high, and am ready to give you any support you want,” said Lemani.

Moyale Barracks under 101 Brigade teams to participate are Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Netball, Hockey, Tag of War, Run track race and others.

Every year Malawi Defence Force organizes the Inter Unit Sports Festival that involves all Military Barracks in the country and Moyale Barracks are the defending champions after winning the trophy last year.
