Lieutenant Colonel Clement Ngalonde has expressed heartfelt appreciation to Counsel Victor Gondwe, Professor Wales Singini, Colonel M. Chimbayo and K. Mbale for their generous contribution towards the welfare of the women’s football team.
Speaking after the donation, Lt. Col. Ngalonde said the support has made a meaningful difference to the team’s living conditions, as it enabled the procurement of seven high-quality mattresses, each measuring six inches in thickness.

“We are sincerely grateful to Counsel Victor Gondwe, Professor Wales Singini and Colonel M Chimbayo for this kind and timely donation. Their support goes a long way in improving the welfare and comfort of our women’s football team,” said Ngalonde.
He added that such gestures play a critical role in motivating players and creating an environment where athletes can rest well and perform at their best.

“This act of generosity shows true commitment to the development of women’s football. May God continue blessing them abundantly for their selfless support,” he said.
The donation has been widely welcomed by the team, which described it as a morale booster and a clear sign that stakeholders value their welfare both on and off the pitch.
