Moyale Barracks FC supporters are set to introduce a formal membership system aimed at strengthening their support base and identifying genuine followers of the Kaning’ina Forest Lions.

Supporters Chairperson Owen Banda said the initiative will help the supporters’ committee establish a clear database of people who genuinely support the Mzuzu-based FDH Bank Premiership side.

Banda said the membership programme is also expected to improve coordination among supporters and create a stronger sense of belonging within the Moyale Barracks family.

“This will help us identify true supporters of the Kaning’ina Forest Lions. We want to know who our genuine supporters are and bring them together under one organised structure,” said Banda.

He added that the membership system would also help the supporters’ leadership communicate effectively with its members and mobilise them for matches and other activities involving the club.

The initiative comes as Moyale Barracks continues to enjoy strong support from fans across the Northern Region, with supporters regularly turning up in large numbers to back the Lions in domestic competitions.

Banda said more details on the membership registration process, requirements and benefits would be announced in due course.
