A day before Moyale Barracks football team battles out with Area 30 Cops the Blue Eagles, team patron of moyale who is also the Commanding officer Lieutenant Colonel Thokozani Chazema Psc has asked players to work hard in all coming matches.
Chazema said this on Saturday when he visited the team during final preparations against Blue Eagles, a game that will be played on Sunday at Mzuzu Stadium.
“I am here to share with you three things, one Let’s keep on working hard and win games, we can’t afford to lose against Blue Eagles. Let’s show them that we are good than them. This time around let’s fight for the championship and if I remember the last time we fought for championship was way back in 2013-2014 season where we ended on second position,” Chazema said.
He then divulged the news that any Army team to finish in top 3 will play CAF Champion next year.
“Army Commander has promised to fund any Army team to CAF, so let’s work extra hard than before for us to play in CAF competition next year,”.
Reacting to the news Mc Donald Harawa captain of the side promised the patron to bring results starting from Sunday game.
“We are much thankful for your coming Sir, we do appreciate this gesture, on behalf of my fellow teammates, we promise to bring good results from tomorrow and we will work hard with an eye of playing in CAF next season.
Moyale Barracks football team is on fifth position with 9 points, and playing Blue Eagles on Sunday at Mzuzu Stadium.
