Dwangwa-based Moyale Barracks Sports supporter Biden Nota has stepped up for the Lions of Kaning’ina, pledging free transport for supporters travelling to Chitowe Stadium to watch Moyale Barracks take on Mafco.
Nota made the pledge during an interview with Moyale Barracks Sports on Friday, urging supporters from Ngala Trading Centre, Dwangwa and surrounding areas to turn up in numbers and give the team maximum support.
“I want every supporter from Ngala Trading Centre all the way to Dwangwa and surrounding areas to give more support to the team. What I can provide is transport to whoever wants to go and watch the match, and I will drop them back at their destinations,” said Nota.
The passionate supporter, who has also been providing water and refreshments to Moyale players, said it pains him to see the team dropping points.
“I came on my own during training to give morale and encourage the players to work extra hard tomorrow against Mafco. No one is playing at home. Even Mafco has travelled from Salima, so this is everyone’s venue,” he said.

Moyale Barracks face Mafco in the final match of the first round of the FDH Bank Premiership at Chitowe Stadium.
The Lions of Kaning’ina are currently 9th on the table with 18 points from 14 matches.
