Moyale Barracks Football Club has emerged as the most disciplined Army team in the TNM Super League, according to the latest on-field disciplinary chart released by the Super League of Malawi (SULOM).
Popularly known as the Kaning’ina Soldiers, Moyale accumulated 43 yellow cards and just two red cards, placing them eighth overall on the disciplinary standings. Among the Army teams competing in the elite league, Mafco topped the chart with 65 yellow cards and three red cards, while Kamuzu Barracks followed with 53 yellow cards and four red cards.
The figures indicate that Moyale Barracks is the most disciplined Army side in terms of player conduct during matches.
Commenting on the achievement, Moyale Barracks General Secretary, Lieutenant Mike Chimwala, said discipline remains a key pillar of the club’s philosophy.
“As Moyale Barracks, we emphasize discipline both on and off the pitch. This ranking shows the commitment of our players and technical panel to play competitive football while respecting the laws of the game,” said Chimwala.
According to the same SULOM chart, Mighty Wanderers are the most disciplined team overall in the league, having recorded 25 yellow cards and one red card.
