Prominent businessman and Gift Collection proprietor, Gift Chiumia, has welcomed Moyale Barracks FC back to Mzuzu Stadium with a donation of bottled water, soft drinks and bananas ahead of the team’s return to their home ground.

The donation was presented as a gesture of support and encouragement as the Lions of Kaning’ina prepare to face Masters FC on Saturday in their first match at Mzuzu Stadium this season.

Receiving the donation on behalf of the club, Team Manager Chifundo Mwanyama expressed gratitude to Chiumia for the timely support, assuring him that the players would repay the confidence shown in them by fighting for victory and collecting all three points against Masters FC.

Saturday’s fixture marks Moyale Barracks FC’s long-awaited return to Mzuzu Stadium after the venue was temporarily closed by the Football Association of Malawi for failing to meet elite football standards.
