Moyale Barracks Hockey men team has reached quarter finals of the FCB Super8 Hockey National Tournament that is taking place in Blantyre.

According to the Edward Singini who also played as Midfielder in the team said everything is going on well especially in men’s category.

“At first we were supposed to play NRC but our opponents didn’t show up so we corrected free points, our second fixture was against UNIMA which we won 3 nil with these points we have progressed to the quarter finals in the men’s category,” said Singini.

Moyale Sticks in usual colour

Moyale men is expected to wind up their group stages against Braves, as NRC will be playing against UNIMA in the same group on Sunday.

In women category Moyale women lost their first game against Capital Braves 1 nil, they drew 1 all against Genetics and on Sunday they will play two must win games if they are to progress to the next round.

The opening event was graced by FCB CEO, Malawi Olympic President Jappie Mhango, Sunduzwayo Madise and others.
